Jojoba oil
Updated: Mar 15

Jojoba oil (Pronounced ho-HO-ba) is native to the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona/California and northwestern Mexico but is produced in desert like climates around the globe.
Jojoba oil interestingly enough is actually a liquid wax and is the closest thing to the sebum our skin naturally produces. (If you would like to learn more about sebum it is in our blog) and contains zinc, copper, Vitamin E, and B vitamins.
This oil is amazing for dry skin, but since it is so compatible with our skin and balances oil production it is great for oily, acne prone skin as well. With a variety of healing properties, it has been used to treat several skin conditions including Eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
